Blog on web development, AI, and automation

Cases from real experience and real projects: development and WordPress, AI agents, and business process automation. I write exclusively from my own experience — with numbers, conclusions, and, of course, interesting failures.

What this blog is about

This blog is the working journal of KAPLIA.PRO, a digital product bureau. I write it from a practitioner’s seat: for over 18 years I’ve been building websites, eCommerce platforms, web apps, CRMs, bots, and AI agents — and the articles grow straight out of that work. Not from other people’s roundups and press releases, but from my own projects, servers, and mistakes.

There’s no content plan for the sake of a content plan. An article appears when there’s something worth saying: a telling project wrapped up, a site got hacked, a new technology shipped and I’ve actually had my hands on it.

The topics: from code to business decisions

The blog rests on a few pillars:

  • WordPress and web development. The foundation of my expertise: core customization, Gutenberg, performance — from a breakdown of version 7 to an honest answer on whether the platform has a future.
  • AI and automation. AI agents, vibe coding, n8n, and business process automation — with practical takeaways instead of excited retellings of announcements.
  • DevOps and security. CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, backups, and real break-in cases with a breakdown of what exactly went wrong.
  • Digital products as a business. SaaS, client portals, redesigns: what they cost, how long they take, and how they turn out.

The format: case studies over theory

Nearly every article is built on a real case with numbers and a timeline: how I built a SaaS with AI in 37 days, or why one night of a hacked site teaches more than a thousand security tips. With the details that usually hide behind the word “confidential”.

Failures don’t get edited out here. If a solution didn’t work, I write about why it didn’t — those takeaways save you more time than polished success stories.

How the blog differs from the knowledge base

The blog is experience and opinion: case studies, observations, forecasts. For structured learning there’s a separate knowledge base — courses and lessons on layout, CSS, and WordPress. And for small everyday tasks — free online tools. The three formats complement each other: tools save you minutes, lessons build a system, and the blog adds context and instinct.

Summary

In short, this is a blog about how digital products actually get built — with all the trade-offs, price tags, and hard-won lessons. New articles come out when something happens, not on a schedule, so the easiest way to follow along is to bookmark this page and come back.

And if one of these cases resonates and you want the same result for your business, have a look at the bureau’s services: you work with me directly, no middlemen.
