The knowledge base is the open educational section of KAPLIA.PRO: free courses, lectures, and study notes on web development. No registration, no payments, and no “leave your email to unlock access”. If you can see this page, you can learn.

For over 18 years I’ve been designing and building digital products — from websites and eCommerce platforms to CRMs, bots, and AI agents. All along I’ve been taking notes: first for myself, then for people just entering the profession. Now those notes live in one place — organized and open to everyone.

What’s here right now

Two courses are already open — you saw them above on this page:

• HTML & CSS — Course for Beginners — 19 lessons of web layout from scratch: content tags, forms, flex, media queries, responsive layouts, and modern CSS. The first lesson isn’t about code at all — it’s about how to search for information properly, the skill this profession starts with.
• WordPress — Notes and Lectures — a security checklist and SEO best practices, 2026 edition. Not a retelling of the docs — a distillation of what I actually check and configure on live projects.

Who this is for

• Complete beginners — the HTML & CSS course assumes zero background: it was designed as the first step into the profession.
• Early-stage developers — fluid layouts, breakpoints, responsive typography: the things people usually learn chaotically, laid out here in the right order.
• WordPress site owners — the security checklist takes one evening and closes the typical holes before someone else finds them.

Why it’s free

Honest answer: it works for me too. Open knowledge builds trust — you see how I think and how I explain things long before we shake hands. Students grow into colleagues, readers into clients.

I also believe the fundamentals of web development should be complete, up to date, and not hidden behind “the rest is available after payment”. So there will be no sign-ups, no mailing lists, and no paid sections here. This knowledge base is a contribution, not a funnel.

• Advanced WordPress — custom themes, plugins, Gutenberg blocks, and the architecture of large sites.

I’ll publish gradually. Only what I’ve tested on my own projects makes it here — so there will be fewer new materials than I’d like, but every one of them will be honest.

Summary

“Live and learn” at the top of this page isn’t decoration. Web technologies change faster than textbooks get printed, so the learning never stops — and I still enjoy it.
