“Your own website is no longer a business card. It’s where you capture your experience, your thinking, and your awareness of the moment you’re in right now. It’s going public with who you are as a professional.”
A reboot years in the making
“Finally. It’s happening…” — anxious, slightly panicked thoughts are swirling around my head…
The realization that I can once again write freely on the internet is both exhilarating and a reminder of my responsibility to do it differently than last time — back in 2009, on my own HTML page that I “coded” in Macromedia Dreamweaver. It was fun for its time, but there was no goal or strategy behind it, and it got somewhat emotional and, at times, a little too candid.
Writing on your own page is nothing like “posting” long-form pieces to Facebook, LinkedIn, or Threads. It’s about having your own territory — your own notional, boundless space — which I’ve finally decided to start filling with meaning, in strokes as rough and confident as these.
But let me pull my thoughts together and get to the point — my new website! This site didn’t appear out of nowhere; it matured slowly and in fragments, between client projects, the occasional deadline on fire, and sleepless nights spent mastering new technologies and learning new things. The previous version of this site had been running since way back in 2018 (imagine!), and for its time it did its job honestly — it looked like a simple CV that recruiters from companies big and not so big would stumble upon now and then to send me yet another coveted offer.
Over the years, everything changed: me, the architecture of my brain, my approach to technology and WordPress development, the market and its demands. A vision of quality crystallized, along with an understanding of the client needs I’m equipped to solve with my skills and expertise.
The old site no longer matched my new reality. RIP, old site.
So what’s next — what will live here?
The new site is not a redesign — it’s a complete rethink.
A detailed look at me as a specialist
No abstract phrases — real experience, and a real approach to work and technology. How I make technical decisions, why architecture matters more than “launch it fast” almost every time, and where I draw the line between compromise and quality.
Updated service descriptions
The focus now is on outcomes and practicality, not a dry list of capabilities. From WordPress development to complex custom solutions, integrations, and ongoing project support. You can read more on the services page.
A portfolio with context
I’ll now try to accompany every project in the portfolio with an explanation of the task, the technologies chosen, and the solutions behind it. Not just a screenshot and a link, but a deliberate biography of each project. New work will make it into the portfolio faster and reflect my trajectory as a specialist more accurately — essentially serving as an online mirror.
Original articles and perspectives
This is a space for thoughts on development, business, WordPress, automation, and working with clients. Some of it may turn out rambling and existential (like this piece). The blog will be a place where conclusions get recorded — not where manuals get rewritten.
Updated client testimonials
Genuine, real, drawn from long-term collaborations. Better than any marketing, they show what working together looks like over the long run.
Why only now?
You can only imagine how deep the immersion in client projects and new technologies must have been if I only got around to my own site in 2025. This launch is a deliberate gesture — a gift to myself for a new stage and a new year, and at the same time a marker of a new level of professional self-awareness.
It only gets more interesting from here
This site is a living system. It will keep growing and changing along with my experience, new case studies, ideas, and challenges. Ahead lie new projects, deeper articles, and even more practical examples. And this is just the first breath of a new chapter!
